Live Blog Updated, The Bulls Are Most Likely Dead

Well the Isaiah Canaan thing was pretty fun for like 10 minutes wasn’t it? Not sure what the Bulls can do at this point. Jimmy played basically the entire game. D-Wade is old and shitty and unless Niko/Lopez/Zipser are all on fire at the same time it’s really hard to find consistent points. And the worst part is Gar and Pax will be able to say the Bulls would have won this series with a healthy Rondo (which isn’t wrong) and that they have the pieces to contend (which is very wrong). On to Game 5, I feel bad for Jimmy, he knows he has to play 48 minutes and have the game of his life and it still may not be enough.

I’m going to give the Bulls the benefit of the doubt for a lackluster Game 3 performance. Combine the Rondo injury with the fact that the Celtics had to play with a hell of a lot more intensity and you got a terrible performance and something we all want to forget. So here we go with Game 4. Not to be dramatic but this is the series in my mind. Bulls win tonight and I think they can hold on to win in 6. Bulls lose tonight and I just don’t see them winning 2 out the final 3 with 2 of them on the road. What I hope and pray is the Fred has a short leash on the MCW/Jerian Grant thing. This is not going to be pretty but if both those guys play like they did in Game 3 you need to let Jimmy bring the ball up, maybe try a lineup of Butler, Wade, Zipers, Niko and Lopez. Whatever the answer it is I’ll be extremely disappointed if the Bulls go down stubbornly trying to play horrible point guards for the rest of the series if they prove they can not produce.
